It is important to us that our children learn and absorb their faith and religious practice into their daily lives. To this end the children are encouraged from a young age to participate in Sunday school classes.   The children process from the mass to Sunday school with their teachers led by a cross bearer as the community prays for them. They return in kind to celebrate the Eucharist with the church family.

As they age and mature they are trained to take a more active role in worship services. The Sunday school participates in the collection of food for those in need by contributing to the Sunday school basket presented at the Offertory of the mass. These items are included with our overall donations and delivered to the local Food Pantry. We encourage children to assist in the mass as Acolytes and servers. There is a youth group program separate from the Sunday school. They meet with their advisors to discuss outreach projects they have adopted.
